Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust

Carnival of Rust" is the first single and the title track of the Carnival of Rust album by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. It was released in Finland on 22 March 2006 and in Germany on 1 December 2006.The single contains two versions of the track and a live recording of the song "Don't Mess With Me" from the band's first album Signs of Life. The track was recorded on 15 July 2005 at Rockperry Festival in Vaasa, Finland.


The song has gained a significant amount of success by immediately hitting the number one on YleX's Most Wanted and staying on top of the list for four months (for now). The song reached number 2 in the official Finnish single charts as well as the most wanted song of 2006 on YleX and was #2 in overall sales/radio/video/disco play list according to the Finnish music book Sisältää Hitin and #1 in the radio play list on Rumba's 50 Hits list.

NightWish - Nemo

“Nemo” is the tenth single by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, the first from the album Once. The London Philharmonic Orchestra participated on the single.
Nemo is Latin for "nobody". It is also the name of the mysterious captain in Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Also, nemo corresponds to the famous answer given by the Greek hero Odysseus to the Cyclops Polyphemus.

Nightwish – Amaranth

Amaranth" is the second single of Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish's Dark Passion Play album.
The single features a song called "While Your Lips Are Still Red", which is featured in the Finnish film "LIEKSA!” released in September 2007. The song features all the band members but Emppu Vuorinen and Anette Olzon, and its video (with clips from the film) was released on June 15, 2007. The song leaked onto the internet before the official release, though the exact date it leaked is unknown.

On August 24, 2007, the official Nightwish website reported that "Amaranth" had already achieved gold status in their native Finland two days after its release, meaning sales of over 50000 singles. On August 29, it was announced on the same website that "Amaranth" had topped the Finnish Singles Chart. On September 6, the official site also announced that Amaranth had reached the top of the charts in Hungary and Spain too.

Nightwish – Wish I had your angel

 "Wish I Had An Angel" was the eleventh single for Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, the second from their fifth album once. The song features vocals by then-vocalist Tarja Turunen and bassist Marco Hietala, but is still performed live with current vocalist Anette Olzon and is often used as the final song of the band's live shows.

Featured on the soundtrack of the film Alone in the Dark, it became the group's most popular single in Europe and in the United States, next to Nemo. It made it onto two U.S. film soundtracks. It reached 60 in the United Kingdom, the highest of any of the band's singles in the UK.
